Lori Quick speaks out
about losing her son
Ty, because he did not
wear his seatbelt.
In Memory of
Ty Quick
Ty Quick was born to Bryan and Lori Quick of New Haven, Missouri
on September 18, 1985. From the day of his birth, he was a very
charismatic, loving, and friendly person. Ty was an unforgettable
person from the moment you met him. Growing up, Ty loved to play
sports, especially baseball. Ty was a naturally gifted athlete. Ty was a
pitcher in high school along with playing right field. After high school,
Ty went on to play college baseball at Meramec Community College
where he was a pitcher. Unfortunately, Ty’s baseball career along with
his life would be cut short.

On August 6, 2005, Ty had come home for the weekend to spend time
with his family and friends. That night, Ty was at a friend’s house
when he decided to leave early to go home and spend time with his
mom and dad. Little did we know Ty would never make it home. Ty was
only 3 miles from his house when he wrecked his car. Earlier, Ty
made one bad choice; he did not put his seat belt on. Because of that
one bad choice Ty died. His crash was a very minor crash. In fact his
car could have been driven away that night from the crash site.

Ty’s memory will forever live on, but his life will have forever been cut
short because of his one choice. Don’t let your one choice make you
a statistic. Remember to always Make It A Quick Click and buckle up.
So your family will never have to deal with your life being cut short.
