Lori Quick speaks out
about losing her son
Ty, because he did not
wear his seatbelt.
On March 4, The Make It A Quick Click Foundation and
friends ventured forth towards the state capital in Jefferson
City, Missouri.  Our mission was to help our representatives
pass the Primary Seat Belt Law. There was a rally in which we
listened to various speakers that are in favor of the law and
how this bill has personally affected their life.  After that we
divided up into groups and headed out to the various offices to
speak with the representatives to let them know how we feel
about the Primary Seat Belt Law.  We had a pleasant visit with
our representative Charlie Schlottach who is in full support of
the law.  We appreciate the time he took with us and his
unwavering support.  On the flip side was Representative
Maynard Wallace who did not share our same views and was
not as pleasant as Mr. Schlottach.  We all felt that we had
made our views known and that we had accomplished the
goal we had set out to accomplish.
